* Down conductor = the cable running from the roof-level air terminal down to the earth electrodes. Each such route counts as one conductor.
* An initial inspection is carried out on a newly installed lightning protection system and after any change to the building that affects it – typically after a rooftop photovoltaic installation. It includes a review of the documentation and, on buildings with a PV array, an assessment of the separation distance to ČSN EN IEC 62305-3.

* Every appliance inspection includes an inspection report listing all devices, an inspection label on each item and electronic records with the date of the next inspection.
